How to store drinking water

For safe and hygienic storage, keep drinking water in a cool, dry place away from light. Filling the container completely reduces contact between the water and air and can help extend its storage life.

Suitable silver-ion products intended for drinking water storage, such as those available from camping suppliers, may be used for longer-term storage. They can inhibit the growth of microorganisms in the water and help extend its storage life. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and dosage.
